Take a Picture! – Broken

Wordsmith Studio’s Weekly Photo Prompt

Wordsmith Studio Logo Banner

Welcome to Wordsmith Studio’s Weekly Photo Prompt!  Every Thursday we’ll post a new topic for your photographing pleasure.  When you get a good shot (or three, or five) post them to your blog, website, Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter. Then come back and post a link to your photo(s) in the comments.

This Week’s Theme is: Broken

Things break. That’s life.

When some things are broken, the parts can be used for something else.

Some things break due to normal use, like my DVD player this past weekend. Ugh . . .

Some things get broken accidentally or turn up broken mysteriously . . . “Mom, I have no idea how that happened. It wasn’t me. Honest.” Yeah, right.

Sometimes, you can find things laying around outside that have probably been broken for years.

Take a Picture!

Look around. Chances are you’ll see something broken. Think about what the word “broken” means. Keep watch this week for broken things. Then share a photo!

Got Ideas?

Do you have suggestions for future “Take A Picture!” posts? Is there anything about photography that you wish you knew more? Leave us a comment, or email us here.  We ♥LOVE♥ feedback!

Be sure to come back next week for more fun and new inspiration. Also, watch for a collage of “Broken” photos taken by our contributing members!!

Thanks Bolton! I just love the rusted metals hanging over the aging wooden bench! It’s not my best photo, but I still wanted to share!

I love it!! The rusted metal and little pic of the house at the bottom!! I never noticed how much detail is on some licenses plates. Our’s are plain and blah!
