Take a Picture! – Childhood

Wordsmith Studio’s Weekly Photo Prompt

Wordsmith Studio Logo Banner

Every Thursday we’ll post a new topic for your photographing pleasure.  When you get a good shot (or three, or five) post them to your blog, website, Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter. Then come back and post a link to your photo(s) in the comments.

This Week’s Theme is: Childhood

What does childhood mean to you?

I remember having fun with no real responsibilities. Playing flashlight tag after dark or using trashcan lids to cover the drains and flood the church parking lot down the block when it rained. Barbie dolls and Cabbage Patch Kids. Matchbox cars and Legos. Backyard camping and snowball fights. Blanket forts and cartoons.

What was your favorite part of being a kid?

Take a Picture!

What reminds you of childhood? Did you have a specific toy or game that was a favorite? Show us!!

If you don’t like to take pictures, grab a pen or your computer and write a poem, flash fiction story, or memory about what childhood means to you.
